Woman beat husband to death in Harare, Zimbabwe
Talent Makonde, a 24-year-old woman has been alleged for sending
husband to his early grave after a fight, in Harare, Zimbabwe. She is
said to be presently facing murder charges in court with Shelton
Bhiya, 25, who joined the scuffle in bid to salvage the situation.
Makonde was said to have met her late husband (name withheld) at Epworth, in a Reuben Shopping Center and the two of them left for home together. It was on their way home that an argument ensued and Talent was began assaulting her husband.
It was at this point that Bhiya who saw the fight while passing by, tried to separate them.
Information reaching the court confirmed that when the police arrived the scene arrested them. They were later detained at the police station but Makonde's collapsed the in the morning of the following before he could give his statement.
He was rushed immediately rushed to the Parirenyatwa Hospital where he breathed his last.
The Autopsy examination later revealed that he had died from a Brain Haemorrhage (severe loss of blood) which he must have suffered during the beating from his wife.
Meanwhile, the suspects have been told to apply to the High Court if they need a bail because of the gravity of their offence. They have been remanded in custody till the 21st of January.
