Woman finds bicycle lost 50 years ago, swallowed in a tree

A widow, Helen Puz, in Vashon Island in Washington, in U.S, lost her bike more than 50 years ago, only to discover recently that it was swallowed up by a tree. Travelling off Vashon Highway, about 50 feet
into the woods behind the local Sound Food Café, travellers will come across a peculiar site; an intact, 1950s-era bicycle entrenched into a tree.
According to report, she didn't realize what happened to the bike for more than 50 years.
Puz, who is now 99 years old, received the bike in 1954 as a gift from a member of her community in Vashon Island, Washington, because she had been recently widowed.
Sources say that, puz stated in a document, "People were very sympathetic and generous".
"We were given a girl's bike and my 8-year-old son Don seemed the natural one to ride it."
"But Don Puz was none-too-pleased to be cruising the island, which is nestled between Seattle and Tacoma, on a girl's bike.
One day he told me that he had lost the bike, and given that it was built for a girl, they decided to let it go".
Recently, Helen Puz read in the local Beachcomber newspaper about a bike that had been "swallowed up" in a tree and was now stuck in the trunk five feet off the ground, and the tree had grown around it.
It was alleged that,Don and Helen Puz visited the tree, located 50 feet off of the Vashon Highway, and confirmed the bike was indeed the one that Don lost many years ago, sources reported.
And it was also discovered that, even more amazing.
